115外文系新鮮人成長營　相見歡、定錨課程開啟大學新篇章

Feng Chia University Students Join Konkuk University’s Overseas Summer Program for an Immersive English-Language Learning Experience

The Office of International Affairs at Feng Chia University organized an overseas study program at Konkuk University in South Korea from July 1 to July 19. A total of 19 students participated in the three-week summer program, which was conducted entirely in English. The curriculum covered topics including K-Psychology, K-Aesthetics, and virtual reality applications. Students from Feng Chia University also engaged in discussions and collaborative projects with peers from the United States, Germany, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and other countries, gaining valuable cross-cultural communication skills and practical international experience.

Designed specifically for first-year students and aimed at encouraging interdisciplinary learning, Feng Chia University’s Exploration Course is presenting its end-of-semester exhibition, “Interdisciplinary Exploration Through Games and Creativity,” from June 29 to August 31 in the first-floor lobby of the Library. Organized by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, the exhibition features 11 student-produced podcast programs and 11 thematic posters. Topics range from people-centered transportation and housing culture to interpersonal relationships and mental health, reflecting students’ observations of contemporary social issues.

「閱讀空氣：語用學教你好好聽／說話」講座　探索語言背後的人際智慧

本次演講以語用學（Pragmatics）為核心，許老師以生活案例切入，用日常對話、社群媒體互動的實例，說明語言不只是字面意義，更牽涉情境、語氣、人際關係與文化背景，帶領同學深入解析人們如何透過語氣、停頓、暗示與上下文來理解「言外之意」，並以適切的方式來回應。

外文系教師教學專業成長社群專題演講：AI時代的語料驅動學習——探索AI與語言教學的新可能

本次演講主題為「AI時代的語料驅動學習」，內容涵蓋人工智慧、語料庫語言學、機器學習、深度學習、語言模型與訓練資料等重要概念，並進一步介紹分詞（斷詞）、大數據分析及資料偏誤等議題，帶領與會者理解AI系統如何透過大量語料進行學習與生成。同時，許教授亦分享AI倫理與資料使用等當前重要課題，引導教師重新思考AI時代下語言教育、人文學科與科技應用之間的關係。
